Many of these players will be involved in the upcoming annual US Youth Soccer Olympic Development Program Thanksgiving Interregional. The Region II girls' pool players selected to roster for this ODP event will head to Coral Springs, Florida for training and competitive play November 18-24. On the boys' side, the Region II pool players rostered for the Interregional will travel to Disney’s Wide World of Sports® Complex in Orlando, Florida November 23-27 for a similar format of training, play, and of course, Thanksgiving dinner.

The US Olympic Development Program is recognized as the nation’s elite player identification and development program. In Indiana, players progress through a system of district identification to state pool selection to state team selection. Players rostered to the state teams then train regionally at camps during the summer and compete for opportunities to be included in the regional pool.

Players participating at the Thanksgiving Interregional level will have the opportunity to train and compete in front of U.S. Soccer National Team Staff and leading collegiate coaches to maximize their exposure for team placement. Congratulations and good luck to all!
