First you will complete the
2010 Wisconsin State Championships Online Application.
While not all fields on the Online Application are required,
please provide as much information as
possible. The more information you provide, the more information our registration
committee will have on your team during the selection process.
If your team is accepted
to participate in the 2010 Wisconsin State Championships, we will notify you
of any other forms and materials that may be required.
Team Eligibility
All information must be provided. Entry fee must be paid by providing a valid credit card number with application or by check with a printed confirmation page. Make checks payable to “2010 WI State Championships”. If mailing entry form and fee, send to 2010 WI State Championship, 10201 W. Lincoln Ave Suite 207 West Allis, WI 53227. Deadline to submit application for Spring 2010 play is March 1st, Applications received after March 1st will be rejected.
Spring 2010 Matches
Open to any properly affiliated WI Youth Soccer Association affiliated club in “Good Standing”. Spring 2010 round robin play games are scheduled for May 29th, 30th and 31st with semi-finals June 5th and finals June 6th.Teams drawn into play-in game and not advancing to the group play round robin competition will have a portion of the entry fee returned to the listed team contact at the conclusion of the fall state finals.
Player Eligibility
A player may only play for one team during the 2010 tournament; the team to which the player first competed for at any time during the current 2010 State Championships Tournament, Regional Championships Tournament or National Championships Tournament. Rosters are frozen 45 minutes prior to a team’s first played game, including "play-in" games which are officially part of the State Championship Tournament.

Priority of Games
US Youth Soccer Wisconsin State Championship series games take priority over all other games including other tournaments. Priority of games are (1) US Youth Soccer Wisconsin State Championship series games (2) State League or Midwest Regional games (3) all other scheduled games or other activities. Teams withdrawing form the tournament after the draw for brackets has been conducted will be fined $290.00. Fines are assessed against the member team and member club. Teams not advancing to the semi finals or finals are expected to uphold their league obligation (if applicable). Failing to meet a league game obligation may subject the team to additional disciplinary actions assessed by the league.
US Youth Soccer Wisconsin State Championship series champions are expected to attend the regional (and national) tournament, if applicable. Should any team have difficulty in meeting an appearance obligation for the regional or national tournament, the team MUST notify the State Association as quickly as possible. Withdrawing from the regional tournament can result in a minimum fine of $3,000 per team, per club (if a replacement team is not found).
Submitting an application to participate in the 2010 WI State Championships Tournament affirms that a team and its member players, coaches, parents and all other persons affiliated with the team agree to abide by the tournament rules of play and codes of conduct as listed on the 2009 STATE CHAMPIONSHIP web page. Failure to abide by the rules of play may be assessed against the team and the member club.
Play-in Games
The WYSA will be scheduling all play-in game for April 24th or April 25th with a rain date of May 1st/2nd. If selected for play-in game your team will be expected to play on the dates provided. The game locations are TBA.
Advancement
Winners at all age groups advance to the Midwest Regional Championship Tournament 2010 and the U14 and older age groups from the regional tournament, advance to US Youth Soccer's National Championships.
