ODP Regional Camps Wrap-Up

The 2009 Olympic Development Program Regional Camps recently concluded in Rockford and DeKalb, Illinois. Teams from all fourteen Midwest states participated and the following OYSAN players were named to regional teams.

1992 Girls: Kori Chapic (Russell, Cobras), Maria Deliberato (Independence, TBA).
1992 Boys: AJ Klever (Sylvania, Pacesetter). 
1993 Girls: Megan Giesen (Strongsville, TBA), Christen Westphal (Brecksville, TBA), Sarah Molina (Rocky River, TBA).
1994 Girls: Sasha Haverchak (Akron, Internationals), Courtney Kobashigawa (Mansfield, OP South), Reagan Robishaw (Perry, Internationals), Ashley Meier (Strongsville, Whitecaps), Sandra YU (Strongsville, TBA).
1994 Boys: James haupt (Canton, Everest), Jarrod Nadzan (Strongsville, TBA), Blake Schach (Chagrin Falls, TBA), Bryan Wolanski (Strongsville, CFC).
1995 Girls: Allison Stucky (Brecksvville, Internationals).
1996 Boys: Alex Campana (Twinsburg, PFC), Prayag Jina (Aurora, TBA), Alec Nagucki (Medina, Ambassadors), NAthan Schultz (Highland Heights, TBA).

Nathan Schultz was also selected to attend the U-14 National Camp in August.

Many thanks to the cities of Oberlin and North Olmsted for hosting the OYSAN Olympic Development Program training this spring and summer.

Congratulations to the following young OYSAN referees who were invited to attend the ODP Regional Camp as part of the referee development program. Attending the girl's camp in Dekalb were Dakota Luzader and Frank Hullinger; and attending the boy's camp in Rockford were Matthew River and Mark Horsfield.  

2009/2010 ODP 

The fall ODP training program for non-high school age players will begin in September and the registration system will open in early August. OYSAN has added a new ODP district in Steubenville. Other district training sites are Youngstown, Cleveland East, Cleveland West, Akron, and Toledo.

Congratulations to OYSAN Staff coaches Candice Fabry and Greg Hennelly, both from the Toledo area, who recently completed their USSF "B" licenses in Northfield MA.
