The 1999 Girls Lightning Blue U11 Team are looking forward to the 2009-10 season!

A journey to sport education in a fun, competitve and challeging environment. A new formed team will play in the 2009-2010 season. First and foremost we want to give a great soccer experience to these young players and their supporting parents, within an environment designed to enhance positive mental attitude, sense of competitiveness, love for the game and educational team sport. TO THE PARENTS - We will develop your daughters into complete young soccer players and prepare them to play and compete at high level in high school teams and future college teams, by teaching individual advanced soccer techniques, team tactics and play, and enhancing their natural capabilities and talents. We will make your investment in sport education a valuable one. Your daughters will learn to understand and appreciate the team spirit and effort. They will learn how to place individual skills at the service of the team and play with character in a competitive yet fun environment. COACH' s PHILOSOPHY - "How good do I want to become in this game?" This is a question that these younger players will have to ask to themselves. The coach cannot answer for them. The parents cannot answer for them either. In fact no-one but them can. There are no limits if the commitment, the inner desire and the motivation to learn is there. No matter where you play, which team you play for, the level you play at, you have always to remember that you must always have the love and the passion for the game. This love and passion does lie in your head and your soul. If you lose that and you are no longer able to smile then it is like a theater play when the curtain comes down…it is all over! The positive experience for these young players is the most important thing and the key cornerstone of the coach's philosophy. To teach them how to play with a winning mentality, because winning is important; to let players play with freedom, using their natural creativity; to teach them to compete with fairness and sportsmanship. We want them to develop new friendships and/or grow existing one even stronger through this wonderful sport experience.
