Unbeaten Streak Comes To An End

It was a tough week for us at Blackburn. After a 15 match unbeaten run we lost 2-0 away to Larissa in Greece and 1-0 at home to Portsmouth.


The game in Greece was unfortunate as a deflection and a pitch related mistake on a backpass from one of our defenders cost us within 2 minutes of each other.

The Portsmouth game we could have won in the first 15 minutes with some very good attacking play however on this day we could not find the net. Kanu made us pay with a moment of brilliance and that was it.

The great thing about football is there is always another game approaching very quickly and we have one Wednesday night at home in the Carling Cup versus Birmingham.

We, as always, will be throwing everything at them to get on the scoresheet as we don't want to go four games in a row without scoring!

Our defense has remained very solid and we are all very confident are strikers will start banging the goals in as they are all class.
