Solid Performance versus Chelsea
9/19/2007

Sorry it has been a while but it was mainly due to the international break. Since I have retired back in 2004 from the US National Team my time during interantional fixture dates is spent quietly with my family while also resting my body.

I did not have too much time off as we were training daily as we had a very big match against Chelsea. It is always difficult playing against them and last Saturday was no different.

I thought we all stuck together really well defensively and proved we have a very solid team once again. We have remained unbeaten in 15 games now dating back to last season and we will work very hard to keep that run going.

I'm writing this from Greece where we play Larrissa tomorrow night in an UEFA Cup match. It is the first leg and a very important leg at that. The winner of this home and away tie goes into the group stages which start in October.

I have been monitoring the progress of my academy boys as well and have been hearing some good reports. I will soon be visiting again and am looking forward to seeing everyone once again.

I hope everyone is trying to watch and pull for the Rovers this season. We have a lot of important games coming up and it is important to remain unbeaten.

Brad.
