The season is off to a solid start

Well it was a very exciting first week to the Premiership season for Blackburn. We came away with 4 points and actually are a bit disappointed. It is not always a team will be disappointed in getting a point against Arsenal but we did outplay them, especially in the second half.


Both goals were soft, as both goalkeepers know, but I thought at the end of the 90 minutes we had the better chances and more of the play.

It is also not very often that a team as good as Manchester United goes the first week, 3 games, with no wins!!! That is what makes this league so good and competitive as on any given day anyone can win.

I'm also very excited that our first crop of year round residency players are in and we will be unveiling them today at our facility in Lorain. We don't have all the players there as we are still waiting on a few visas but 18 of the 24 are there today and I wish them all the luck in the world to get to the next level in their careers.
