2008 Ohio South U11 Girls State Cup CHAMPIONS!!!
It is a great day to be a Cardinal!!! The Cardinal Premier U11 girls are State Cup CHAMPTIONS for 2008. The girls faced a strong Ohio Elite Academy team, but was able to jump ahead early with a goal in the first 5 mins of the game. The girls added a second before surrending a very long and fine goal from OE to take a 2-1 lead into halftime. The girls came out in the second half determined to bring home the hardware and finished an awesome State Cup Tournament run with 3 second half goals to post a 5-1 win. With the transition to Kings Soccer Academey for next year, the girls become the final Cardinal Soccer Club State Champions. Through the entire tournament the girls surrendered only 4 goals over games, while scoring 24. GREAT JOB GIRLS, BE PROUD!!!
